1. Who we are and what these terms cover

Lemonpost ("we", "our", or "us") provides a social media scheduling and publishing platform (the "Service") that lets you create, schedule, and publish content across your connected social accounts. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Lemonpost. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for that company.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity that happens under your account. You must give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. Let us know as soon as possible if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

3. Connected social accounts

The Service works by connecting to the social networks you choose and publishing on your behalf. You are responsible for:

• Having the right to connect each account and to post the content you schedule
• Following the terms, policies, and content rules of each network you connect
• The content you create, schedule, and publish through the Service

The social networks are independent third parties. We are not responsible for their availability, their decisions about your content or accounts, or changes they make to their own platforms or APIs that affect how the Service works.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law or the rules of a connected platform
• Post content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful
• Send spam or engage in abusive automation
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service
• Use the Service to build a competing product

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules or that put the Service, other users, or the connected platforms at risk.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

New accounts start with a 7-day free trial. A payment method is required to begin the trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins automatically at the plan and price you selected.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis and renew automatically until you cancel. Payments are processed by our payment provider. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds for partial periods.

We may change our prices from time to time. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will give you notice before the change applies to your next renewal.

6. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you upload, schedule, and publish through the Service. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and transmit that content for the purpose of providing the Service, such as publishing it to the platforms you connect. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Intellectual property

The Service itself, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Lemonpost and is protected by intellectual property laws. These terms do not give you any rights to our trademarks or to copy or resell the Service.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, and our sub-processors page lists the third parties that help us run the Service. By using Lemonpost, you also agree to those practices.

9. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service running reliably, but we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. We may change, add, or remove features over time. If we plan to discontinue a material part of the Service, we will give reasonable notice where we can.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the Service, including that it will meet your requirements or that scheduled content will always be published successfully, since publishing depends on the connected platforms.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lemonpost will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, or data arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

You can stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we are required to by law. When your account ends, your right to use the Service stops, and we may delete your data in line with our privacy policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will let you know through the Service or by email, and we will update the "last updated" date above. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any dispute relating to them or to the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Oslo District Court (Oslo tingrett), unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
