Install the Lemonpost mobile app
Add Lemonpost to your iPhone or Android home screen in about thirty seconds, and get updates without visiting an app store.

Lemonpost works on your phone the same way it works on your laptop, and you can put it on your home screen in about thirty seconds. There is no app store download, which means no waiting on updates and nothing eating storage. You get the current version every time you open it.
Install on iPhone or iPad
You need Safari for this one. iOS only allows home screen installs from Safari, so if you are in Chrome, open the site in Safari first.
- Go to app.lemonpost.co in Safari and log in.
- Tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen (the square with an arrow pointing up).
- Scroll down the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Name it (Lemonpost is already filled in) and tap Add.
The lemon icon lands on your home screen. Open it from there and Lemonpost runs full screen, with no address bar in the way.
Install on Android
- Go to app.lemonpost.co in Chrome and log in.
- Tap the three dots in the top right.
- Tap Add to Home screen, then Install.
Some Android phones show an Install app banner at the bottom of the screen as soon as you log in. Tapping that does the same thing in one step.
What you can do from your phone
Everything. The installed app is the full Lemonpost, not a cut-down version:
- Write and schedule posts in Lemon Studio
- Check and rearrange the calendar
- Reply to comments and DMs in Engage
- Look at your analytics
It is genuinely useful for the small jobs that come up when you are away from your desk: approving a post before it goes out, replying to a comment, or pushing tomorrow's post back an hour.
If you do not see the install option
Two things cause this almost every time. On iPhone, you are in Chrome or another browser instead of Safari. On Android, you are in a private or incognito tab, which blocks installs. Switch browsers or leave incognito and the option comes back.
Already installed it and something looks stale? Close the app fully and reopen it. That pulls the latest version.
Common questions
- Is there a Lemonpost app in the App Store or Google Play?
- Not right now, and you do not need one. Lemonpost installs straight from your browser as a progressive web app, so it lands on your home screen with its own icon and opens full screen without the browser bars.
- Do I need to update the app?
- No. Because Lemonpost loads from the web, you are always on the current version. There are no downloads to approve and no waiting on app store review when we ship a fix.
- Can I post from my phone?
- Yes. The installed app is the full Lemonpost: compose a post, schedule it, check the calendar, and reply to comments and DMs in Engage.
- Will I get push notifications?
- Not yet. Notifications are on the roadmap. Today Lemonpost emails you if a post fails to publish, so nothing goes silently missing.
