What does link in bio actually mean?
Social platforms are strict about links. Instagram gives you one clickable link on your profile. TikTok gives you one website field. Captions do not carry clickable links at all. So creators point people to the one place that can hold everything, and "link in bio" became the phrase for it.
What is a link in bio page?
A link in bio page is a small, mobile-first website that holds every link you want to share: your latest launch, your shop, your newsletter, your other profiles. You paste one URL into your bio, and visitors choose where to go next. Instead of swapping the bio link every time you post something new, you update the page and the link stays the same.
How to put your link in your Instagram bio
Copy your lemonl.ink URL, open your Instagram profile, tap Edit profile, and paste it into the Website field. You only do this once. From then on, every caption can simply say "link in bio", and the page underneath stays current with wherever you want to send people this week.
How to add a link to your TikTok bio
On your TikTok profile, tap Edit profile and paste your lemonl.ink URL into the Website field. If you do not see that field, TikTok gates it by account type and follower count in some regions, and switching to a business account usually unlocks it. Once it is in, your one TikTok link can carry every link you have.

What is a link in bio?

Because captions cannot hold links, creators send people to the bio, and the bio points to a page with everything in one place: latest content, shop, newsletter, and other profiles.
