One place for every conversation
Comments, direct messages, and the automations that reply for you. All in a single inbox, sorted the way you want, filtered by channel or account.
Comments from every post
See the comments waiting on all your posts across Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, and Bluesky. Reply, like, or delete without opening a single app.
DMs in one thread list
Read your direct messages from Instagram, Facebook, X, and Bluesky side by side, with unread counts, and reply to Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky right from the inbox.
Reply privately as a DM
On Instagram and Facebook, answer a public comment with a private message. Move the conversation to DMs without asking the commenter to message you first.
Comment-to-DM automations
Someone comments your keyword, Lemonpost DMs them the link instantly. Set it up once on Instagram or Facebook and it runs on its own, day and night.
How it works
From scattered tabs to one inbox in four steps
- 1
Connect your accounts
Link the profiles you want to manage. The inbox pulls in comments and DMs from every account that supports them, across all your brands.
- 2
Read everything in one list
Open the inbox and see comments and messages together, filtered by channel or account and sorted newest, oldest, or most-commented first.
- 3
Reply where you are
Answer a comment, like it, or reply privately as a DM. Send messages back without switching apps or logging in anywhere else.
- 4
Automate the repetitive ones
Build a comment-to-DM automation for the questions you get over and over, so the link goes out the moment someone asks.
A closer look
The inbox that answers before you do
Comments
Every comment thread, on one screen
Pick a post on the left and its full comment thread opens on the right, with replies nested underneath. Reply, like, or delete any comment, and on Instagram and Facebook, answer it privately as a DM. Filter by channel or account so a busy brand never buries a quieter one.
Seven networks in one view. Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, and Bluesky comments, together.
Reply, like, or reply privately. Handle the whole thread from the inbox, and move public comments into a DM on Instagram and Facebook.
Filter and sort. Narrow to one channel or account, and sort newest, oldest, or by most comments.

Comment-to-DM
Someone comments your keyword. They get a DM.
Build the automation once. Choose the Instagram or Facebook account, pick a trigger, set the keywords that fire it, and write the DM. Add up to three link buttons, and optionally a public reply to the comment too. Leave the keywords empty and every comment triggers it.
Comment or story reply. Fire on a comment on any post or reel, or on a story reply, which is Instagram-only.
Keyword matching. Match a keyword anywhere in the comment, or the exact word. Watch one post or the whole account.
See what it sent. Each automation tracks how many times it triggered, DMs sent, and clicks on the links inside them.

What is a social inbox, and why use one?
A social inbox is one place to read and reply to everything people send you across your social accounts: the comments on your posts and the direct messages in your DMs. Instead of logging into each app to check for replies, you handle it all from a single screen, which is how teams keep up when the mentions pile up.
Why manage comments and DMs together?
Engagement does not arrive in neat piles. A question shows up as a comment on one post and a DM on another, on whichever platform the person happened to be using. When comments and messages live in separate apps, replies slip through and people wait. Pulling them into one inbox, sorted and filtered, means you answer in the order things arrived and nothing gets lost between tabs.
What is a comment-to-DM automation?
A comment-to-DM automation watches your Instagram and Facebook posts for a keyword. When someone comments that word, it sends them a direct message right away, usually the link or freebie they asked for. Creators run these on launch posts and reels so the caption can say "comment LINK and I'll send it over," and the DM goes out on its own, at any hour, without anyone typing a reply. In Lemonpost you pick the keywords, write the DM, add up to three link buttons, and it runs until you switch it off.
How does keyword matching work?
You give the automation a comma-separated list of keywords. Choose Contains and it fires when the keyword appears anywhere in a comment, so "send me the LINK please" still counts. Choose Exact word and only that exact comment triggers it. Leave the keywords empty and every comment on the post fires the DM. You can scope an automation to one post or let it watch the whole account, with one automation per post.
Can I turn a comment into a private message?
Yes, on Instagram and Facebook. When a public comment deserves a private answer, like a pricing question or a support issue, you reply to it privately and Lemonpost sends the answer as a DM. It is the manual version of the same move the automations make, for the one-off cases that do not fit a keyword rule.
One inbox for the platforms with one
The inbox pulls comments from Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, and Bluesky, and DMs from Instagram, Facebook, X, and Bluesky. Reply to comments everywhere, and send DMs on Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky.

FAQ
Social inbox questions, answered
Comments come from Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Threads, and Bluesky. Direct messages come from Instagram, Facebook, X, and Bluesky. TikTok and Pinterest do not expose an inbox, so they do not appear here.
You can send DM replies on Instagram, Facebook, and Bluesky. X messages are read-only for now, because sending them needs X's paid API tier, so those conversations show up but the reply box stays off.
It is a rule that watches your Instagram or Facebook posts for a keyword and sends a direct message the moment someone comments it. You write the DM once, add up to three link buttons, and it runs on its own. It is how creators auto-send a link when the caption says "comment a word to get it."
Instagram and Facebook. That is where the platforms allow a private message to be sent in response to a public comment, so that is where comment-to-DM runs.
Both. Give the automation a list of keywords and it fires only when one matches, either anywhere in the comment or as an exact word. Leave the keywords empty and every comment on that post triggers the DM.
Yes. Alongside the DM, you can add a public reply that gets posted on the comment itself, so people who see the thread know to check their messages.
Yes, on Instagram. An automation can trigger on a story reply as well as a comment on a post or reel. Story-reply triggers are Instagram-only.
Yes, on Instagram and Facebook. You can answer a comment with a direct message instead of a public reply, which is handy for pricing questions or support. It is the same move the automations make, done by hand.
Yes. Each automation tracks how many times it triggered, how many DMs it sent, and how many people clicked the links inside them, so you know which keywords and posts actually drive results.
Yes. The inbox and comment-to-DM automations are part of every Lemonpost plan, including the 7-day free trial. Plans start at $29 a month, and every plan includes unlimited team seats, so your whole team can work the inbox at no extra cost.
